Paul preached to a large congiegationin the Feilding Wesleyan Chuich, taking for his text P&alrn cxxxm, r v. 3: \' As the dew of Hei--mon', and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion , for there the L rd commanded the blessing, even life foi eyermoie " The reveL gentleman gave a graphic desci iption of the effects which the dew had upon the grass on these mountains, and said that God was glorified in all his works, and even where man had oveicome the t obstacles piesented by and "had accomplished the feat of climbing and descending higk mountains by means of^iailways, the pow oi thus exerted wastiaceableto the goodness ofjGod. j t During the sermon many piaoticable applications to the present age were denved from the jt \At the conclusion of the discouise the choir (with instrumental accompaniment) sang 1 the piece " God,, be wi^h* > r ou,till we meet again" id, an appiopiiate manner. The Home/ }Mißsiou meeting will be held this (Tuesday) + night, when the Rev. Hauiaki'Pau.l will give some interesting mfoimation in reference to his work amongst his fellow countiymen injthe Kaipara and Waikato^distncts. He will also give an illustration of Maori singing on this occasion.
