Nominations for all handicaps, including jumping events, must be sent to tbe Secretary on Wednesday, 9th December, not Inter than 8,30 p.m. Competitors are requested to forward Postal Notes and not Stamps. Two shillings ou each event to be paid on Nomination, accompanied by a statement of public performances for the last two years (matches included), with dates aud localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which can be made on the ground ; other events post entries. Colors must be named ou nomination. The committee- reserve the right to run any nice under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must he members of some Athletic Society, and must produce certi(ica'.es to that effect. Any competitor found guilty ol sending iv fal^j performances, running under an assumed nnnie, or practising any fraud shall bo disqualified for life. The committee reserve tho right to require any competitor cither before or after any event to make a declaration as to his identity ntul tho correctness of his description of his performances.
