=W. Bridson who has just won the Amateur Sculling Championship of Victoria, is a son of Mr Bridson, Registrar of the Native Land Court. He was born in Auckland, and is 23 years of. age. Since his arrival iv Wellington five years ago he has recorded 31 firsts, 7 seconds, 2 thirds, and 1 fourth, to which has to be added his' Australian victory. Thefollowingareallmadetoourspecial order :— Boys' white drill " sailor " suits, gilt buttons and trimmed blue braid, from 4/9 each, at Te Aro House, Wellington. It will be seen by an advertisement another column that Mr J. J. Curtis, of Grey street, Wellington, draws tho. attention of the tradespeople and others to the goods consigned to his care. Consignees at present suffer from delay in transit at Wellington and the consequent expenses of storage, which would le entirely avoided. Those wishing to send parcels or presents to Europe are. reminded that he has a cheap prompt delivery by each direct steamers for London, Parcels so sent arc dolivcred at the door of consignee, if instructed. It is also notified that he has special conveyance for the removal of furniture and luggage. Custom House work is, of course, a necessary branch of his business.— Adyx.
