« An impounding notice appears to-day, A light boy, who can ride, is wanted by Mr Frank Gay. Messrs F. B. Jackson and Co. will hold a sale of lire stock at Palmerston North on the show ground on Friday next. Tenders are invited by Mr Charles Bray, architect, for the erection of a tenroomed cottage. Tenders will be received up to Saturday, the 21st instant, at Mr Bray's office. An announcement from Messrs Boss and Sandford, of the Bon Marche, Palmerston North, relative to a very special display of novelties in dress goods, mantles, and millinory for tho coming carnival week, will be found over the leader in to-day's issue. Messrs Boss and Sandfoed of the Bon Marcho", Palmerston North, announce a very special display of now goods in all departments during show week not only in the Ladies departments, but in the Gentlemen's clothing and Mercery do. partments which will be found fully stocked with a large choice of desirable goods which visitors to Palmerston are invited to expect.
