The report of tho proceedings at tho Boulogne Conference between Messrs O'Brien, Dillon, and Parnell has been published. Mrs Jenkins, of Sydney, writes to the Earl of Zi tland that she intends to bring Cresswell, the lunatic, to England, she being confident that he is Roger Tiehborne. ..^ November 5. Messrs John Redmond and Harrington declare that Mr O'Brien's account of what took place at Boulogno Conference is grossly untruo, and that it was artfully given out, with the deliberate intention j of misleading the public. They state that Parnell's retirement was only to be temporary, and he was always to have the power of veto in connection with Irish legislation. They challenge O'Brien to produce tho documents relating to the conference, but it is alleged that the papers have been burnt, so that the scheme for misleading the people might be complete. Bioting took place at the convention of eeceders at Waterford. Two hundred persons were hurt, many of them asriously. Mr Dillon, who wa3 among those presont, escaped without injury. Tim Healy is undetered by McDermott's attack on him, and says he will still pursue the same policy. In replying to Mr John Redmond's statements regarding the account of what took place at the Boulogne conference, Mr O'Brien characterises them as "grotesque and treacherous falsehoods." New Yohk, November 4. The Democratic candidates in the Stains of Virginia and New Jersey are polling very henyily. Mr Brown was elected for .Maryland by a majority of 10.000; Mr Flower for New York, by a majority of 16,000, and Major McKmley, for Ohio, by 10,000. November 5. President Harrison is delighted at the return of Major McKinlcy for the Ohio seat, The Democrats in New York State are said to have resorted extensively to bribery in order to further the interests of their candidates. The farmers in Ohio did nol rote for McKinley. The convicts who were liberated by the miners working in the coal mines at •Knoxville, in Tennesse, have been recaptured. Rio De Jankieo, November 4. The Brazilian Congress has dissolved, martial lnw has been proclaimed, and a Dictatorship re-established in the city. November 5. The crisis in Brazil was brought about owing to the President disputing the power of yeto held by Congress. Bloodshed is imminent, but only meagre information is to hand from Rio owing to the wires having been seized. Cabul, November 5. The Ameer of Afghanistan, in answer to a deputation of Indian merchants, said he was inspired by a feeling of truest friendship for England. Calcutta, November 5. A train was derailed a 6 Nagpur, iv the Presidency of Bengal, to-day, and five British soldiers and five railway officials killed. The list of injured numbered twenty -four. Athens, November 6. An English petroleum steamer has been burnt to the water's edge off Negropont Island, nine of those on. board perishing in the flames.
