Mr Horace Chester
In the 1 Rtibms~ last night Mr Chester - played "to W' moderate house. The weather was Very'threat- - eniag and precluded the"attendance r of people from" the country. The entertainment of Mr Chester is clever and amusing, and his , representations of well-known public men. and characters, were really very good, and' well merited the applause they jecerved. y ; The 11 Whistling song" was the most amusing song of. all. The mustacheograph was. very clever, and the-actual apparent production qf hirsute appendages, on the, face of the operator "was the, cleverest thing ever seen on a Feild» ing stage^ The piano accompaniments to the songs, and the pieces' played during the pauses, were ,,well rendered by Mrs Chester, who is an accomplished pianiste. We are glad ' to learn that Mr Chester will pay a'return visit at an early date, when we feel confident that this undoubtedly talented performer will be greeted with a bumper house.
