A general meeting of members of the Feilding Cricket Club and thoseintensted in the game, was called foriastjerening in Donnelly!fl.J There was a poor attendance, only eight persons being^present. Mr Nicholson, the secretary, read the balance-sheet of last season 1 , whieh-tfnowed the receipts as £8 ss, and expenditure as £2 17s 2d, leaving an apparent of 7s lOd, which was carried to the 'lunch acconnt. The club was actnally • about* 12s in debt, but the secretary 4ad paid theL deficiency out of his own pocket: Mr Nicholson"" was elected^ seeretai^and treasurer for the year. It was' deeufed to ' elect the captain of a;team od the^ay.of the match. The following member* were elected a general committee for the-ensu-ing ~- year .—Messrs Kitchen^tStavens, Eade, and J.
