A shocking accident occurred yesterday at Blackburn's Flaxmill, Kaikora North, Robert Kirk, 24 years of age, unmarried, was feeding the flax, whonthe machine caught his hand, dragging the arm in up to the shoulder, where it was broken; off. The man was conveyed to the County Hospital where the arm was amputated. ..
