Is 9d to Is lid ; seeds, 2s to 2s Id; maize, 2s 2d to 2s 3d ; bran, 9yd ; pollard, 8d ; peas (Prussian Blue), 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; potatoes, New Zealand, 1 5s to £1 2s tid ; Circular Heads, £2 10s to £2 15s ; onions. £3 10s to £3 15s ; butter, dairy made, 8d ; factory, 10d ; imported, 7d to 9d ; cheese, s|d to 7d ; bacon, local, s|d to 6|d ; imported (norn« inal, quotation), 7d ; hams, New Zealand 10 to lid. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cable message from their London office, dated 29th September: — Wool — The sales progress firmly, but there is much irregularity in the bidding. There is now moderate com petition on I German account. The total quantity catalogued to date is 250,000 bales. Th*» total quantity withdrawn to date is 33,000 bales.
