The Marine Court found the captain of the, barque Fiji, which was wrecked with considerable loss of life on the Vietoriau coast, guilty of gross miscon duct, and suspended his certificate for IS months. Hobakt. September 25. Mr Marsden, fourth officer of the Union Company's steamer Wairarapa. fell overboard when the vessel was off Cape Raoul on the voyage from Mcl« bourne, and was drowned.
