Feilding School Committee.
A meeting of the 'above was held last evening. Present — Messrs Lethbridge, "Worsfold. Gould, Curran, Morey, Ouitis, and Shearer. . Correspondence was read from the Borough Council, re night soil. Also, s from the Head Teacher. Proposed by Mr Gould, seconded by Mr Curtis, That the Head Teacher be requested to furnish a monthly report of absentees. — Carried. Proposed by Mr Morey, seconded by 3tfr Curtis, That the chairman write to the Borough Council, asking permission to make their own arrangement re rexnoyal of night soil. The average attendance for the last month was 268. Messrs Gould and Curran were appointed a visiting committee for the ensu- • ing month.
