• ♦ • A black leather purse was found today and left at the Stab Office. A Band of Hope meeting is advertised in the Methodist Church this evening. All are warmly invited. A new and interesting replace advertisement from Mr Alfred Eade of the Corner Furniture Warehouse, will appear in our next issue. Numerous additions are made to>daj to Messrs F. B Jackson and Co.'s list of entries for their sale at Palmerston on Thursday next. The Secretary of the Acclimatisation Society, Mr H. L. Sherwill. gives notice to-day that licenses for trout fishing for 1891-2 may be obtained from him. The season commenced to-day.
