Feilding Football Club
A meeting of members of the Feilding Football Club was held in Oliver's Hotel on Saturday evening last. The attendance was good and Mr Kirton, a vice--president of the club, was voted to the chair. It was decided to wind up the season with a plain and fancy dress ball, and a committee of seven, with power to add to their number, was appointed to make the necessary arrangements. A hearty vote of thauks was accorded to Mrs Macarthur, who had presented the club with a new and very handsome banner. The medal presented by Mr Henry for the best all-round player was awarded to Mr 0. Aitken to whom the (Jhairrnan presented the medal. It was announced that Mr Galway would present two medals to the Seniors, and it was decided that the match committee should allot them at the close of the sea&on. The meeting then closed with the usual compliment to the chairman.
