There will be a special general meeting of the Feilfling Football Club, at Mr Donnelly's on Saturday night, to discuss the best way of winding up the season. The Wanganui v. Manawatu rep match will be played at Feilding on the 19th iost. The re|irsesentatiye match, Taranaki v. Miinawata, played at Hawera, on Tues ihiy last, resulted in a win for Taranaki by 5 points to 1. The Manawatu team may be considered to have made a excellent stand against the formidable Taranaki " reps," and it is to he regretted that the orginial team selected by the Match Committee could not get away. As it was, no less that seven substitutes were included in the team which played.
