THURSDAY'S POLL.

TO THE EDITOR OF ! THK STAR. Sib, — In reference to the above, will you kindly allow me to say a few words' to the ratepayers. In some respects the coming annual election of councillors i& the most important m the history of theborough. The two candidates mentioned give the voters on Thursday an opportunity of showing their displeasure at such conduct by returning their faithful representatives at the head of the poll. I await the result, with confidence iv the - common sense— and uprightness of our. fellow burgesses.— Yours, etc. Echo of the Majobctt... -
