• , — _ { PEB UNITED PHESS ASSOCIATION. J Auckland, September 4. Richard Walsh, one of the sub bailiffs resident at the Resident Magistrate's Court, committed suicide this evening by shooting himself in the head with a ret revolver. Maeton, This Day. A large flour mill at Sanson, belonging to Mr Clover, was burned down at midnight last night, cause of fire is unknown. Nothing was saved, but the loss is covered by insurance.
