Pork pigs improved alittle in valae. WANGANTTIr August 26 . •There seems to be no falling off in thedemand for store cattle.. At our sales in. Palmerston, Waverley, and Wanganui V large number of good cattle came forward every pen being well competed for andprices being well maintained Sheep were not so mucb in demand, though wesucceeded in selling all that offered. We - are of opinion that fat sheep have reached their top vaiao, and are bow too dear for freezing purposes.
