On Saturday next the Feilding seconds - journey to Bulls for the purpose of trying conclusions with the club of that place in a Junior Cup football match. The contesting teams are leading for this cup with 8 points each, so that a hard- - fought game may be expected, and which ever wins will in all probability win the cup. As on former occasions, we shall expect " our boys/ to give a good account of themselves. ' N 1 The following resolution was unanimously passed at a committee, meeting of the Feilding Football Club last Saturday : — "' That a hearty vote of thanks be accorded the ladies who so generously contributed towards the handsome banner which has been presented to the - Club." It was also decided to invite the Collegiate School team to play a match on the Oval against our Seniors. Mr E. J. Kelleher, secretary of .the Palmerston Football Club, informs the Manawatu Times that the Marton Club, owing to the difficulty of getting their' team together, have decided to forfeit the match with Palmerston on the 22nd. This places Palmerston in the same position as Feilding with regard to the Cup.
