The Daily News estimates that the American wheat crop will give a total yield 'of 550,000,000 bushels, of which 195,500,000 will be available for exj ort to meet European requirements. The English, wheat market is depressed • the Continental is advancing, the American is ehxßgiug a little for the worse. __ ~— j The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile - Agency Company (Limited) have received -the following cable message from their London office, dated 7th instant : — .•Tallow — Tallow is in good demand. Fine mutton tallow is worth 27s 9d per cwt., and good beef 253 3d. Frozen Meat. — The mutton market has a downward tendency, and beef market is easier, while that for lamb is quiet.
