Tuesday, August 4. The Council met at 2.30. A number of petitions were presented against the Shop Hours' Bill. The Truck Bill and the Shop Hours Bill were both read 'a second time and referred to the Select Committee. The Adulteration Prevention Bill' passed through all its final stages. . * ■-.
