Memoranda. Numerous additions are made to- day to Messrs Stevens and Gorton's sale at Palmerston North on Thursday next. Mr Halley advertises fresh oysters to-day. One thing in connection with this sale is worthy of special notice. Curtis, of Grey street, Wellington, draws the at-t.'nt:<->n of tho tradespeople and others to tin- goods consigned to his cure Consignees at present suffer from delay in transit at Wellington and the consequent expenses of storage, which would be entirely avoided. Those wishing to send parcels or presents to Europe are reminded that he has a cheap prompt delivery by eacli direct steamers for London. Parcels so sent are delivered at ihedooi of consignee, it instructed.
