LPSB UNITBD PBESB ASSOCIATION. J Melboubne, July 21. The Argus strongly condemns Sir George Grey's proposals to tax English bondholders, as it considers it would affect the credit of the colonies. This Day. Sailed, yesterday — Te Aim, for the Bluff. Two ships, the Gulf Stream and Berar, have put into Port Phillip almost wrecks. The damage was caused by gales in the early part of the month. The Berar was dismasted and the other partially so. Bbisbane, This Day. The Naval Defence Bill haß passed through a Council. Sydney, June 22. As a result of the recent severe weather ; and floods, the deaths of four men have : been reported from Tirana district from exposure. ( This Day. A boat belonging to the barque Helen, bound from Newcastle to Auckland, attempted to land at Seal Bock light house, but capsized, and three men out of four were drowned.
