Whilst approving of the Advocate's efforts to uphold the prices which have rukd on this coast for years past, in connection with the Kiwitea Road Board's business, we emphatically demur to our contemporary's statement that no journal has a tenth of the subscribers tho Advocate has in the Board's district. This statement is both absurd and untrue. We have a larger circulation in the district named than both the Marion papers combined. If anyone doubts this statement, let such doubter visit our sanctum sanctorv,m, where he will receive information which will speedily convince him that our statement is bonajide and incontrovertible.
