Wellington Land Board

The Wellington Land Board held an ordinary meeting on Thursday - last.- Present — Messrs Baker, Fitzherbert, McCardle, Hogg, and Macarthur. The following applications for titles were granted — D, Oargriff, section 24, block XI, Mangaone; Q-. Oolville, section 9, block 111. Mangaone ; A. Jackson, section 25, block 111. Apiti ; F. Hill, section 80, block XXIII, Mangahao; A. J. Turner, section 126, block VII, Mangahao. With regard to the application of Mr M. A. H. Emmett to transfer section 3, block XI, Pohangina, the Board' decided to grant" same as soon as required improvement are carried out. The report of Mr H. Lundiua, ranger, on the Pemberton Special Settlement block was read, and it was resolved that settlers in arrears should not forfeit their interests. The following transfers were approved : H. & Munro, sections 49 and 50, block XIII, Apiti, to A. Munro.
