Day. ~ (Before Messrs H. L. Sherwill and W. G. v Haybittle, J.P.s.) . . A man named Boss was charged with having obtained certain cattle from Mr F. Bismarck by alleged false pretences. Mr Prior appeared for the police and Mr Mr Coateß, of Wellington, defended the accused. The evidence of F. Bismarck had -been taken and Mr Allen, manager of the Bank of New Zealand, was being examined as we wen tto press. - . _ v
