|PEH UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION, f LoSdok, June 17. "Truth," referring to the baccarat scandal, says royalty, in tHe oia sense of 1 the word, had ceased to exist in England. The Queen jia respected only as a woman, and monarchy rests on a fragile basis'. In its opinion England will be a Republic within 50 years. June 18. Truth states that the Emperor of Germany, in a letter to the- Queen j protests strongly against the Prince of Wales' conduct. It is denied oh authority that the Prince of Wales was in any way concerned in the election of Mr Arthur-Stanley Wilson f one of the defendants- in the Baccarat case, as a member of the Marlborough Club.
