Owing to the organised disorder which continues. prevalent at political meetings it has been found necessary to establish a strong league with the view of suppressing it. •- , Mr Dibba,' leader of. the Opposition, has announced his intention of contesting the South Sydney seat. One of the labour, candidates who is out for the same constituency, charges the Protectionists with offering him a bribe of ;£2OO to withdraw from the contest. Mr Dibbs denies the . accusation so • far as he himself is concerned. June 15. During the nominations to<day the hustings erected at the Town Hall collapsed and precipitated 90 person* 14 feet Twenty were hurt and three had to be taken to the Hospital, one of them suffering; from .serious injuries. Several leaders, who are candidates, were more or less bruised, Brisbane, Jane 13. The Strike Committee is obtaining the opinion of ilie men as fcj whether they should declare the strike- at an end.
