STEVENS & GORTON'B STOCKREPORT. We held a large sale at Palmerston on Thursday last, the yards being quite full of both cattle and sheep. Store stock of all kinds were easier in eyery respect although we quitted all ;he sheep at or afer the auction, and most of the cattle at the following rates : — Cattle —Pat cows, £3 15s to £4 5s • fat bullocks small, £5 10s ; store cows £2 10s to £3; forward cows, up to £3 10s- year lings, 30s to 355; weaners, 15s to 25s • milk cows, i' 4to £6 according to qnalitv ■• forward bullocks, £3 15s to £4 5s J ' Sheep.— Fat wethers, 14s 6d to'i4s 9d • store wethers, 12s 6d to 13s 6d ; fat ewes! 12s; ewes in lamb, 12s to 14s; old ewes in. lamb, 9s to Us ; woolly lambs, 10a 6d • ewes, Us 6d ; shorn lambs, 8s to 9s We hold a quarterly horse sale in Pal in future, uext Saturday being our first Entries for same will now be received at any of our offices.
