At a meeting given by the Auckland' Trotting Club, in aid of the Hiintley Disaster Fund, a ' sensational dividend was paid, viz., £130 16s, paid to Messrs Aliison and Bailey, -who conjointly held the only ticket on the winner of the Selling Trot, a horse named Disappointment. The Horowhenua Cup was won by Oleander, witb^ Deception second and ! Omaha third, and the First Hurdle Handicap fell to Marksman, Eoger second and Acolyte third.
