Mr J. G. Wilson, M.H.R., has written io the Foxton paper, stating thafc Messrs Nelson Bros, propose to ship their mutton frozen at Woodville to Foxton instead of sending it to Napier or Wellington. Ifc is argued that if it can be done at Wanganui there is no reason why it should not be done at Foxton. Mr Wilson points out that in case of bad weather Kapiti would afford shelter. We may state that it is behind this island the steamers loading at Wanganui propose to anchor during unfavorable weather.
