Following are the results : — Handicap Hurdles. — Christmas, 1 ; Jupitei*, 2; Worth, 3. A good race. Water bury fell in the second round. Time, 4ruin 31£ sec. Dividend, £7 Is. Handicap Hack Hurdles. — Marksman, 1 ; Karawa, 2 ; Corsair, 3. Dividend, £3 2s. Time, 3min. 12£s. Maiden Steeplechase. — Sir Maurice, 1 ; Whalebone, 2 ; Ridge, 3. Close finish. Won by a neck. Whalebone jumped into the training track and lost 50 yards by so doing. Time, smin dfli-sec. Dividend, £1 17s. First Handicap Hack Race. — Hiamoe, 1 ; Durus, 2 ; Viola 11., 3. Despised and Strike also started. Tune, 2min 54sec. Dividend, £5 15s. Egmont Handicap, of 100 soys ; about three miles. — Takapau, 9-10 1 ; Dangerous, 9-7 2. Ingoragni, Sir Maurice, Jupiter, Waterbury, Matchless, Christmas, and Ivy also started. Sir Maurice broke his back. Time, 7min 57sec. Dividend, i' 4 2s.
