(PEfi PBESS ASSOCIATION). Sydney, May 12 The Hon. William McMillan attempted to address the electors this evening, chiefly in reply to speeches delivered by the opponents of Federation. Most disgraceful scenes took place, and free fights were the feature of the evening. Mr McMillan was eventually compelled to withdraw, and handed his speech to the press representatives for publication. The disturbance was evidently organised beforehand. Meibottbne, May 13. The special medical committee appointed to examine the condemned man Johnston have submitted their report, in which they state that he is perfectly sane. I -■■- ■ --- -■
