Memoranda.

We publish an " inset " from Mr J. B. Hamilton, draper and clothier, to-day. Mr Trimble's sale of furniture, at Mr Donkin's residence, will be held on Tuesday, 12th inst. Mr Trimble, auctioneer, invites entries for his next horse fair, which will be held at an early date, in the yard at the Feilding Hotel. Cocksfoot grass seed at 3d per pound is advertised for sale. Samples may be seen at the Star Office. Notice is given to-day by Mr Edmund Goodbehere, clerk to the committee, that the annual meeting of the Kiwitea Licensing- Committee will be held in the schoolhouse, at Cheltenham, on Tuesday, , June 9th, 1891.
