(PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION). Masterton, April 20. A youth named Christian Hansen, uged 16, accideutly shot himself ye^ter>tny at Maunceville. Hansen was pigeon shooting and laid hie gun on a log. Subsequently he picked it up by the lan-el when' the trigger caught in the uirk of the tree, and the contents were lodged m his side. Death was instantaueous. Wanganui, April 20. A boy named Hamilton, rescued from the Commercial Hotel while it was burn ing yesterday morning, ib suffering from blood poisoning. He was very bad yes terday owing to the shock, but is better to day. Hawkba. April 20. Miirdo McLean died rmildt nlv ou tfaturday. The luquuat ahowod the cause of death to be quiasy.
