Frozen Meat Export
(^ER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Hawera, April 14. By invitation Mr Weddell, of the firm of Weddell and Co,, London, met the A. and P. Society to-day and discussed subjects pertaining to the frozen meat export trade. He was heartily thanked for his address, and the farmers present passed a resolution supporting the action of the Freezing Company in requesting a reduction in freights. ..-. Blbnheim, April 14. Nelson Bros, have secured a site at Spring Creek of 140 acres, with a good supply of water power. They have also purchased the Marlborough Meat Works. The first shipment of frozen mutton will be sent away by the Maori on the 26th ofthis mouth.
