In view of the approaching Cup matches, regular prai tice is required of both senior and junior players and with that view the following teams have been picked for a scratch game on Saturday next, the game to commence at 3 sharp: Whisker's team — R. Whisker, Cornwall, Dyer, Roache, Strachan, Harmer, Mildred, Keightly, J. Whisker, Collins, Aitkin, Keen and Lloyd; Fowler's team —Fowler, Fan thorpe,' A. R. and R. Parr, Robinson (2), Giesen, Matrayers, Stewart, Graham, Belfit, Thomson, Eyans, and Lance. All other players will be picked on the ground. A meeting of the Rugby Union will be held on Saturday the 25th instant, where the Cup matches (senior and junior) 'will he. arranged for the coming season. It is very probable that four senior teams and five junior teams will compete for the cups, kindly given by Messrs P» Bartholomew and Benson. •* Twenty- Five.
