Eight horses started, but only two finished, the others .being * distanced. Grafton _. won easily. Time 7min 25sec. . ~ - - A.J.C. Plate; 3~rniles. —Carbine (Bainage) 1 ; Correze, 2; Greygown, 3. Only three started."-Betting-10 to'l on Carbine.' The champion had all the best of the race, and won by a length and a half. Time 6min 27sec.
