Renone, Scutcher, and Goodshot, were the other starters. Won by a length and a half. Time, 3min 2sec. Dividend, £2. Grand Stand Handicap, seven furlongs. — Hilerfana^l ; La Petite Fille, 2 ; Weka, 3. Minnie and St Malo were the other starters. Won by a quarter of a length, Weka beating Sfc Malo by a neck. Time, linin 313-sths see. Dividend, JB2 17s. ; Jubilee ;. one mile and. a quarter. — Whisper, 1: Lochness, 2; Torpedo,' 3. Tamora and Eileen . also faced the starter. Won by a short length Lochness beating Torpedo by a quarter of a length. Time, 2min 13 l-ssec. Dividend, £1 14s. .Farewell Handicap.r-St Malo, 1 ; Torpedo, 2 ; La. Petite Fille, 3. Time, liiiin 33 2-ssec; - Diyidend, £6 6s. J6250 was offered for La Petite Filler but was refused.

' At the' sale of thoroughbred horses to day the yearling colt by Nordenfeldt— Albatross, brought 450 guineas; the yearling colt by Le ;Loup — Miss Kate, 155 guineas; (bought by Mr G. Or. Stead), Bay King; 150" guineas ; three-year-old colt Perkin Warbeck-: H. from Idalia, 79 guineas ; Chester Lad, 4i guineas (bought byMrG.G. Stead). Crackshot was offered, but was passed in at 500 guineas. : • !
