Wellington Land Board

The concluding business transacted at the Board's meeting on Thursday last in connection ' with this district - was as follows': — " ' ! In consequence of a report received from Mr H. Lundins, Crown Lands Banger, the, Board resolved to take proceedings against those selectors in the Pohangina Survey District and Bunnythorpe Village Settlement who were in arrears with their improvements. 1 The Board decided on the report of Mr Lundins, Banger, not to lease part of the reserve 9, block 6, Apiti, to W. and J. Beid. It. was. : also resolved that Mrs J. Hicks, selector of small run section 7, block 9, Apiti, who wished to be exempted from residence, should be asked to find a suitable pex'son to take over the section. The Commissioner reported that he had acted upon the Board's instruction as to therecovery of rents, and would -follow the matter up by issuing summonses where necessary.
