Campbellj a miner; was killed ill the Bendigo mine, Cromwell, oh Saturday* He was carrying dynamite, in a bucket, and a lighted candle, when an explosion occurred and Campbell was killed* MastbrtoNj March 31. TWO young men named Wilson and Gillespie were out shooting yesterday* when Wilson's gun was accidentally dis* charged, the contents lodging in Gillespie's foot. He was carried into Masterton t and attended by Dr Beard. Gisboene, April 1.The clothes of John Bourke, Towrf Clerk, was found at the end of the breakwater at 8 o'clock this morning. Bourke went to the breakwater to bathe at 6 o'clock and has evidently been drowned* There is no sign of the body. Wellington, April 1. A private telegram received here states that Leonie and Viva Gillespie, aged 14 and 16. daughters of H. C. Gillespie, manager of the Kauri Timber Company, Thames, were drowned in the Kaurangi yesterday afternoon.
