[PER UNITED PKEBB ASSOCIATION. I PaliMebston North, This Day. The total number of men under canvas is 1 256 from the following districts : — Wellington, 7 corps, 357 ; Wanganmand Taranaki, 8 corps, 281 ; Napier, 6 corps, 22 : (?) Nelson and Marlborough, 8 corps, 353 ; Permanent Artillery, 53. To-morrow church parade will he held, and the Bishop of Wellington will conduct the service. A collection will be taken up m aid of the fund for erecting a monument and restoring graves of the soldiers who fell at Nukumara . in th& last war on this Coast. On Monday a sham fight will be held on the racecourse 4
