(per press association.) London, March 19. Mr Parnell addressed a meeting at Cork to-day attended by over 50,000 people, and was received with great enthusiasm. Referring to Home Rule, Mr Glad* stone, m his speech at Hastings, said his views on the subject had not undergone •mv change. Mr Maurice Healey, M. P. for Co: k City, has accepted Mr Parnell's challeng. and they will both resign their seats for Cork City, and seek re-election for that electorate. March 20. The Parnellite press seek to excuse the necessity of Parnell resigning his seat for Cork byalleging that the Healy response is offensive. Quebec, March 18. It is said that Montreal residents wil] support Mr Parnell to the backbone. S. J. Thompson notifies that having completed stock taking there are seyeral lines he will refuse no reasonable offer for, such as Remnants of Dress Goods, Muslin, Embroidered Robes at half price, aud other lines too numerous to mention must be seen to be appreciated. — Advt i For continuation of Reading Matter see fourth page.)
