Mr P. Berry, of Makino, adyerfcises a good trotting mare for sale. The next monthly meeting of the Feilding Masonic Lodge will be held on Monday next. The Committee of the Feilding Jockey Club will meet to-morrow night at the Empire Hotel. Tenders for public works in the Manchester and Kiwitea Road Boards will be closed on Saturday. ' Mr Trimble's sale of racing privileges will take place on Saturday. The Committee of the Horticultural Society will meet at Mr Goodbehere's office on Saturday night. Through our Wanted Column Mr Chas. Wickhani, licensed carrier, intimates he is doing carrying cheaper than any other carter in town. Messrs Eichards arid Co. have a replace advertisement m to-day, by which bur readers will see that the firm will open their first shipment; of winter -goods on Saturday next. • " Entries for Messrs Stevens and Gorton's sale at Feilding on Thursday the 26th instant appear to-day in our advertising columns. '
