Terrible Winter
(per united press association.} St. Peteesbueg, March 10. Reports from South Russia state that the town of Tajanrog has buried for threa weeks under snow, Ten thousand labourers are engaged in digging out the inhabitants, who are on the verge of starvation. London, March 10 A blinding blizzard is raging. The temperature has gone down to zero, and many shipping disasters have occurred in the Channel. March 11. There has been a heavy fall of snow in the northern part of Kent and the working of telegraph and railway lines has been seriously interfered with. At Faversbam, opposite the Isle of Sheppey, a tram was snowed up all night.
