Major Wissman's troops had a severe conflict with the Arabs at Kishobo, They killed two hundred of them, and captured large quantities of ivory and cattle. Paris, March 9. Intelligence has been received that the French expedition up the Niger River carried a fortified position at Drena, near the source of the river. Six hundred natives were killed, while the loss on the French side was only eleven.
