Anntial Wesleyan Picnic.

The annttaf Wesleysn picnic was held , on the 1 Oval on Thursday afternoon last. The morning dawned dark and threatening ; but it soon changed for the better, and about 100 scholars and friends assembled at two o'clock. " The time being limited gaye 1 art added zest to the various games and races indulged in* At 6 o'clock an adjournment was made for tea, to which ample justice was done. After this , eyerit play was again continued until near desk, when all left for home, having thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thanks are due to the parents and friends who so liberally contributed ta the funds, and thus provided an ample supply of toys, &c; also, to the Sports Committee for the use of the grounds,- which are 'splendidly adapted for this purpose/
