— -» ' STEVENS & GORTON'S- STOCK REPORT. Bulls, Feb. 21. Our sales at Awahuri and Huuterville this week were a great success. Very large entries came foi ward at Awahuri. and even with the recent additions' to our yards there we taxed to, the utmost to find room. At Huuterville ( our commodious yards there were well filled. The bidding •at -both sales was brisk throughout, ■and everything was sold at both places excepting one lot of sheep, at advanced prices. We quote : — Cattle — Awahuri. — Milch cows, £2 15s to"dE4. Huntervilie.— Fat cows, £3 15s to .£3 17s 6d ; cows, 32s 6d ; 2-year heifers, 35s ; mixed yearlings and .l&moiith, 25s to 27s 6d. * Sheep— Awahuri. — Wethers, 1 1 s Id to lls_sd ;-.youug breeding ewes, 118,3 d, to 12s 7d; fat and forward ■ewes, 10s 9d ; breeding ewes, 7s 7d $s 3d.; "lambs, 6s 3d 7s lOd. Han-tervilie.V-Store wethers, 9s 9d to 10s €dj 2 and 4-tooth ewes, 12s Id; "breeding ewes, 6s 8d to 7s ; lambs, ■6s 7d to-7s-2d ; fat ewes, 9s 9d.
