Irish Affairs -O [OTTB, O"WN OOKE.ESPONDENT.'j London, February 23Mr Chamberlain in the course of a speech denounced Mr Parnell as untruthful and untrustworthy. It was impossible, he said, to rely on the assurances of the Irish leader. Mr Piirnell received an enthusiastic welcome at Roscommon. He said that Mr O'Brien and himself had done everything possible to prevent strife. A meeting at Carrick was violently dispersed by Parnellites. In addressing a meeting at Longford, Mr Parnell said that if evets compelled the Irish to face British bayonets he himself wound take tbe lead. Mr Parnell, speaking at Dublin, thr atened to support the Tories. Cobbe and Darragh have purchased, much under regular price, a warehouseman's stock of Ladies' Stockings, Men's St cks, Undershirts and Pants.
