Seaman Fredericks (Dunedin J Nayals) who, it will be remembered, xvheu uiarkiug at the recent meeting of the N Z. Rifle Association had the third tiuger of his right hand smashed ' ly a, bullet, has gone home to Dunedin. The unfortuuate young fellow has only just been able to leave the -Napiiir. Hospital where the finger had t6 'bet taken- off. T The other fingers, ,i which were, considerably injured, are , liuwf getting, all .right again, but it Will be a iong time before Fredericks Ivill be able. to resume work.
