A bay mare is advertised for, branded Don near shoulder. For particulars see advertisement. The next monthly meeting of the Feilding Masonic Lodge will be held on Monday the 23rd instant. Entries for Messrs Stevens and (3-or* ton's stock sale on Thursday next, are published in our advertising columns today. A ball will be held in the Mangaone Public Hall on Thursday next. The proceeds will be in aid of the Building Fund. For other particulars we refer our readers to the advertisement. Notice is given that the Assessment Court for the Town District of rlalcombe will sit in the waiting room of the railway station there on Saturday the 28th instant at 10.30 a.m. Mr Win. Trimble will sell at Mr F. Richards' shop, Kitnbolton road, next Saturday, the 21sfc instant, all the latter's surplus stock, as enumerated in the advertisement. Luncheon will be provided. To-day Messrs Lowes and Irons advertise a stock sale at Ross 1 yards, Woodville, on Friday, the 27th instant, at two o'clock. The sale is an important one as nearly seven thousand sheep will be offered.
